Invest in the Journalism Center.

Invest in stories that change lives.

The Journalism Center is the only journalism enterprise devoted to social issues affecting children and families. Since 1992, more than 10,000 journalists have turned to us for resources, training and the inspiration to cover some of the most challenging beats.

Now we need you to invest in us, so we can continue investing in you.

Why donate? Consider the story ideas you got from today’s summary; the knowledge you gained at our conferences; the information you found on our Web site; and the opportunities that have come with being a Casey Medals for Meritorious Journalism honoree. Consider how much these services mean to you.

Ways to give your tax-deductible investment:

  • Contribute online
  • Mail us your donation made payable to University of Maryland Foundation, 4321 Hartwick Rd., Suite 320, College Park, MD 20740
  • Or you can call us, 301.699.5133

Right now your tax-deductible donation will double.

The center was recently awarded a grant from the Challenge Fund for Journalism, a joint capacity-building initiative of The Ford Foundation, John S. and James L.Knight Foundation, McCormick Foundation, and Ethics & Excellence in Journalism Foundation.

If the center raises $20,000 from individual supporters, it will be matched by the Challenge Fund for Journalism.
